We were recently asked to supply and fit the flooring for Welcome Homes Ayrshire Sales & Lettings.

Full disclosure with this one...honesty is the best policy afterall!

The job was done after hours to avoid disruption to business. Unfortunately, due to an ordering error, the wrong shade of carpet was fitted 🤦‍♀️

Of course, we held our hands up and were straight back in for another after hours shift to put things right.

Laura was very understanding, appreciated us doing our best to rectify the situation and (eventually 🫣😂) was extremely pleased with the end result.

In business, things aren't always plain sailing, and it's always best to admit when you've made a mistake.

All's well that ends well though 🧡

Lounge, hall, kitchen, dining area and downstairs WC - Fully primed and screeded, fitted with Moduleo Roots 55 'Glyde Oak and finished with a black design strip.

Top landing and stair - Pebble Beach 'Windsurf' on 11mm underlay with black doorbars. 6mm ply and black nosing used for bottom stair.

Bathroom - Moduleo 'Mustang Slate' on 6mm ply.

Customer took advantage of our furnuiture removal, uplift and disposal service, and was delighted with the results 😀

Part two, as promised...the grand finale!

An incredible transformation throughout this home, but the piece de resistance is most certainly the stunning kitchen and dining area by Kitchens by J S Geddes.

Crisp, fresh and somehow gives traditional vibes while being modern at the same time. The Moduleo Roots 55 LVT in 'Galtymore Oak' was an excellent choice, and complements it perfectly Gemma Maberly 👌

Shout out to our LVT wizard for the amount of prep and the level of detail required here 👏

I mean you could buy your flooring elsewhere, but if a job is worth doing it's worth doing right, and we never cut corners!

This was a huge project, one which involved the whole team and their different specialisms.

The prep alone was colossal in this old sandstone house in the heart of Kilmarnock. 9mm ply was fitted throughout to address ageing floorboards and uneven surfaces. Even the thickest of underlays wasnt going to cut it here, and movement would have occurred through time.

Customer opted for Invictus Sandstone and Aquarius carpets in the lounge and bedrooms and Primo Tex Canvas Weave in the top landing and stairs.

Antique brass stair rods and Kensington bars to finish it all off.

Absolutely stunning Gemma Maberly, if we do say so ourselves 😂
