Here at Edgehill Stud, our bees work the hedgerows, wildflowers and tree blossom that surround the farm — gathering the flavours of the seasons and turning them into the most natural sweetness there is.

Not all Christmas trees are created equal.
From our side of the field, we know exactly which trees have had the right light, the right spacing, the right shaping. We know which ones were cut this week and which ones were cut months ago and stored in cold warehouses. And we know the difference between a tree that was grown with care… and one that was grown for volume.
Premium quality isn’t an accident — it’s the result of years of tending.
A perfect shape. Strong, glossy needles. A fresh cut.
Zero miles of lorry queues or border crossings.
Just a tree grown slowly, properly, and locally.
Customers often tell us they’re amazed at how long our trees last.
There’s a simple reason for that: they haven’t travelled halfway across Europe to get here. They’re cut close to home, kept fresh, and chosen by hand — ours, and then yours.

From the Christmas Seller’s POV: Tradition
There’s a moment we see every year — and it never loses its magic. A family steps out of the car, the children rush ahead, someone laughs and says, “Don’t choose the first one you see!”… and just like that, the annual ritual begins.
Across the seasons, we’ve heard so many lovely things from our customers — but one line stays with us more than any other:
“Christmas starts when we visit you… You’re a big part of our tradition.”
From our side of the yard, we’ve watched toddlers become teenagers, teenagers become adults, and adults return with families of their own. The same smiles, the same gentle arguments over which tree is ‘the one’, the same sense of coming home to something familiar.
It reminds us that what we do isn’t simply about selling Christmas trees. It’s about being part of the story people return to year after year — a tradition rooted in real life, real memories, and real trees.
And from our point of view, that’s the most enduring part of Christmas.

There’s something special that happens at this time of year. Before a single light is switched on, before the first bauble is hung, communities quietly begin to weave Christmas together.
This morning in Kineton, we watched exactly that moment unfold — neighbours gathering in the churchyard, rolling up their sleeves, preparing the Memorial Trees we’re honoured to supply each year. A small act, perhaps, but a powerful reminder of what Christmas looks like when it’s rooted in local hands.
When you choose to buy your tree from a small, independent grower, you’re not funding distant boardrooms or far-off countries.
