Lottie Vera uses a wide variety of techniques to make unique and unrepeatable pieces of art inspired by a range of sources, but particularly nature and the world around her. Many of these pieces are for sale themselves along with cards and prints depicting the original piece. Alongside the original art pieces there is also a range of accessories made using similar techniques and a smaller affordab
le art range of Lottie Vera original art pieces. Commissions are also taken. More recently following a creative textiles course her work has been developing a more experimental approach venturing into 3d and sculptural pieces. She loves nothing more than learning new skills and techniques that can enhance her work and enable her to push her imagination to the limits of what's possible. She especially enjoys processes that enable her to make her work even more individual and unrepeatable such as dyeing and printing her own fabric, as well as using multiple techniques layered upon each other to create hidden elements meaning there is something new to see and discover every time a piece is viewed providing endless magic. For Lottie Vera her art is an essential form of self expression and an outlet for the many thoughts and ideas often to be found whirring around her brain. Making things she has been personally inspired to make means a little bit of her passion, heart and soul goes into each piece, hopefully shining through the finished work. This all takes place at Lottie’s HQ which can be found at the bottom of the garden, around the hectic world of juggling the day job and not so little people.
