Happy March everyone 🌱.. Yay, we made it through Winter , just checking in, hope you've all been okay 🙏...

Have to say it's been a brutal winter here in South Devon with the relentless storms battering our coastline....it will feel very different living here now with the loss of our beloved road, the A379 Slapton Line and I'm not sure we will ever get it back to be honest... my thoughts are with the residents of Torcross as they try to restore & rebuild after the damage 🌊.

On the up side, I'm looking forward to another exciting year of Fireside Crafts Kingsbridge & crochet....I will be booking in dates for 2026 craft markets and letting you know the dates 📅 of these soon and I look forward to catching up with you at these events..... I'm anticipating 🤔 that I may have less time for social media posts in 2026 with more focus on my craft markets, but it's very much 'business as usual' ❤️ here at Fireside Crafts Kingsbridge and please, as always, feel free to continue to get in touch with any crochet related queries or commissions 👜 you may have ....

These are some pretty little daffodil stems & lavender spears I have been crocheting & I will be taking these along to my markets along with other types of long flower stems I hope to crochet....

My much cherished ❤️ pottery 'wheel' vase is from the super talented fellow crafter & potter Philippa Lewis at Philippa Lewis Ceramics ...I adore her work!

A magical ✨️ day at Market Hall yesterday joining in all of the festive fun of 'Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas'🎄
A heartfelt thank-you to all of the lovely customers we met yesterday both human, canine 🐶 ( & unseen felines 😺 ), it was wonderful to meet you all ❤️. With special thanks to the adorable 'Maxi' the long haired Dachsund and his Mum & Dad too.....
Finally a huge thank- you to my very kind daughter Pippa for helping me out on my busy stall for the day 🙏!

Fireside Crafts Kingsbridge will remain at Market Hall, Fore Street Kingsbridge alongside 14 other local makers from Kingsbridge Craft Market right up until the 31st December 10am until 4.30pm (excl Sundays and 25th to 28th December) ...do come and see us if you're in town for that unique handcrafted gift 🎁

Pop into the warmth 🔥 of Market Hall if you're in town for 'Kingsbridge Celebrates Christmas' tomorrow, Saturday 6th December.

We hope that you will find that unique and handmade gift for that someone special from our local makers🎄🌟👑.
Weaving demonstrations, original artwork, pottery jewellery. textiles, pyrographic art on to wood, handmade soaps, photography and crochet to name a few of the stalls you can expect to see here.

Kingsbridge Craft Market is also here every day 10am until 4.30pm right up until the 31st December (except Sundays and Dec 25th to 28th) ....we very much look forward to welcoming you, have a great weekend 🎄🎄🎄

And on the run up to our MONTH LONG Christmas craft market (starting next Monday 1st December) Lou will be introducing each maker with a brief 'Meet the maker' bio and a couple of photos giving a flavour of what you might expect to see at Market Hall, Fore Street, Kingsbridge next month so keep an eye on our page to see who will be there 🎄🎄🎄

Introducing The Makers

Over the next few weeks we will be Introducing all the wonderful makers participating in this year's Christmas Craft Market.

This will allow you not only to see what will be available but also to get to know the maker and what inspires them to create their work.

The market is open on the 1st to 24th & 29th to 31st December 2025 - 10am - 4.30 daily (excluding Sundays).
