🕯️ Packaging Perfection… or Nothing 🕯️

We’re deep in the crypt finalising something truly wicked — the packaging.
Because what’s the point of haunting your home if it doesn’t look drop-dead gorgeous doing it?

Until every last detail is nailed down and every box feels like a coffin kissed by the void, we won’t be opening orders.
But the good news? July is calling… and it’s getting louder. 🖤

In the meantime, I’ve just melted Butcher’s Butter in the kitchen — and the scent has possessed the entire downstairs.
It’s spiced, it’s sweet, and honestly? My mouth is watering. I may never recover.

🌕🕯 Morning, my macabre little moonlings…

Last night under the veil of darkness, we brewed up tester batches of Morgue Fresh and Butcher’s Butter — and let me tell you, they both smell drop-dead divine.

💀 Morgue Fresh is chillingly crisp — like a ghost with good hygiene.

🔪 But Butcher’s Butter? Oh… she's a whole other beast. Warm, wicked, and slathered in sin. I think I’ve found my new personal favourite. It's like autumn made a pact with the devil… and then baked itself in brown butter.

Testers are curing nicely — and creeping closer to their official reveal 👀

Last night I poured a few testers while perfecting the formula — and today, I tried Mourning Coffee to see how she burns.

Now the whole house smells like a haunted café — rich espresso, a hint of smoke and something… darker.
I’m upstairs, and I can still smell it creeping through the walls. ☕💀

It’s not just a scent — it’s a presence.
Bold. Bitter. Beautiful.
This one isn’t just performing — it’s possessing the place.

Baby powder for your inner beast. This one’s soft, comforting, and just a little wild — the scent of a freshly fed werepup under a full moon. Cute… but cursed.

Hey, my ghoulish darlings — I’m Rhian, the ghostly goblin behind the cauldron here at The Waxing Moon. 🕯

I’ve been brewing up wax melts on and off for many years, and while the obsession may have started as a little hobby, it quickly became something much more meaningful. For me, it’s not just about scenting your home — it’s about creating a vibe. A moment. A mood. A spell in wax form. 🕸

I choose to work with soy wax because it's gentler on the lungs of the living (especially the little ones and our furry familiars). Safety and softness matter when you share your home with tiny monsters and curious creatures. 👶🐾

If you hadn’t already guessed, I’ve always been drawn to the darker, spookier side of the universe — and that’s exactly what inspires this brand, each scent tells a story straight from the crypt of my imagination. 💀🌙

🩺 Favourite film? Patch Adams — because even a spooky girl has a soft heart. 🔪 Favourite horror icons? Michael Myers (a classic) or Art the Clown (pure chaos). 🌲 Favourite thing to do when I’m not melting wax? Long, soul-healing walks under moody skies.

Making wax melts is my calm. My creative ritual. A way to pour peace and personality into something small, powerful, and beautifully scented.

It’s time to unveil the first three mystery scents from The Waxing Moon 🕯️
These are only the beginning. The first flickers of flame in a much darker ritual to come...

🔪 BUTCHER’S BUTTER
Carved. Slathered. Served hot.
Step up to the harvest table — bloodstained, spice-laced, and dripping with wicked indulgence.
Pumpkin flesh, melted brown butter, and scorched autumn spice come together in a sticky-sweet blend that’s just a little bit wrong.
🩸 Smells like: Salted butter, spiced pumpkin, caramelised chaos, and cozy carnage.

💗 PINK PLAGUE
Sweet. Sick. Spreading.
A cursed doll with a bubblegum soul. This scent oozes corrupted candy sweetness — rotting floss, sticky mischief, and giggles echoing down the hallway.
Too pink to be pure. Too late to run.
💀 Smells like: Deadly sweet bubblegum, cursed candy, and a lingering echo of mischief.

☕ MOURNING COFFEE
Grief never sleeps — neither should you.
A pitch-black brew for those who mourn by moonlight. Fresh-ground espresso, charred bitterness, and the ghost of cold incense swirl together in a wake-up call from beyond the veil.
