The last two weekends have been INCREDIBLE and I am super proud of the workshops we facilitatated and of all the truly beautiful sculptures that were created with a starting point, a piece of clay, some natural texture tools, hands and the inspiring surroundings of Kew Gardens and Henry Moore. Thank you to all of you who gave us such wonderful feedback it really means the world to see how the workshops connected to so many of you in so many ways - we had tears, celebration, the first (and not the last) time touching clay, proud moments, creative confidence and a feeling of togetherness. It blows my mind that this can all be created with a piece of clay!Β
A huge thank you again to Joe Foster for all his support over the workshops! To WORKINGCLASSCREATIVESDATABASE and Kew Gardens for inviting us and making this beautiful thing happen. And to all the staff who helped us manage queues, cleaned clay covered tables, brought us cans of drinks - special shout out to Niamh and Kathryn!! And thank you to you all for joining us (including our lovely friends and family), for bringing enthusiasm, joy and openness! It's an experience we'll never forget for so many reasons. π€πΏ
And a huge congratulations to my fellow artists Sylwia Narbutt & Rachel for their wonderful workshops and performances - it was a pleasure to catch snippets of what you created across the events and observe how everyone engaged!! π
