First day done and dusted at the great north steam fair!

So far we’ve loved every minute of it.

We’ve been spending some time speaking to some young kiddos who’ve taught themselves crochet and done an absolute fantastic job.

Weather’s been absolutely fantastic aswell so definitely not complaining!

Roll on tomorrow for day 2! We hope to see you all there!

Having a new baby grandaughter and teenage grandaughter interested in textiles has spurred me on to start sewing again. I have been teaching my teenage grandaughter sewing l,bought her first brother for christmas and she is alreay making herself a summer outfit and cat capes and bandanna whilst I have been making baby clothes for the newest addition to our family x.

Words cannot describe how elated we are, to welcome another granchild into our small family, our new grandaughter Quinn.

Bless her she couldn't wait to meet everyone and decided to come 4 weeks early.

We have just started Autumn, Halloween and bonfire night around the corner and Sky have advertised Christmas movie channels have returned... yep just checked, its true Christmas channels are listed. I bet shops will start stocking Christmas stuff in the next week or two.
