The Form team run G O O D T H I N G S with our neighbour Plant & Paint 🌿🎨.
It's a maker's market that happens around 4 times a year and we absolutely love putting it together. We have around 3000 visitors at each one and have welcomed traders from all over the UK, making everything from coffee and sweet treats to puppets and screen printed tees, and so much good stuff in between!
This winter, we're putting the market on over two days, so double the choice for our shoppers!
Makers have until THIS SUNDAY to apply - so make the most of your Bank Holiday weekend and get your application in.

Date for your diary: we are closed Saturday 22nd August. Open as usual every other day ☺️
If you're around on Saturday then there's loads of lovely shopping to be had at our Humber Street neighbours - plus Hull and East Yorkshire Mind are putting on a Mindful Makers Market in the Pier Street Pop-Up! They have other events on throughout the week too (including goat yoga!)

Welcoming a new artist to our print walls and racks - Rosanna Reade. We get transported to many wonderful places with Rosanna's print work that explores nature, places and their inhabitants, with a lighthearted approach and beautiful colours.

These are all risograph prints, with some original designs and some adapted from her prints. Come flip through and pick your favourite!

A hand-drawn guide to walking the Yorkshire Coast Path and exploring the county’s varied coastline from the Tees to the Humber. You can follow the Yorkshire Coast Path or just explore the Yorkshire coast through North Yorkshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Illustrated by Christopher Goddard (Chris Goddard), a cartographer born in Sheffield and now living in Hebden Bridge. He's been drawing maps for as long as he's been able to hold a pencil.

The Yorkshire Coast is an original cartographic guide to walking the 200-mile Yorkshire Coast Path from Teesside to Humberside. The book covers the high cliffs of Cleveland and North Yorkshire, as well as the crumbling shore of the East Riding and the flatlands of the Humber estuary, exploring the wonderfully varied scenery of the county’s long coastline. Starting on the River Tees in Middlesbrough and finishing at the River Ouse in Goole, most of this route forms part of the newly-open England Coast Path. The hand-drawn maps also provide plenty of opportunity for creating short round routes and exploring the cliffs, beaches and foreshore of the area.

Over twenty suggested round routes are included, all accessible by public transport, and take in parts of the coastline while also exploring the landscape inland. There are dozens of hand-drawn sketches and extensive notes on the rich local history, wildlife, geology, etymology and folklore of this fascinating coastline.

We count ourselves very lucky to not only get to stock delicious Kitty Hargreaves Mindful Tea (which basically means we get to drink it on tap), but to also be friends with founder Kitty and work with her in the shop!

We loved creating our new Yorkshire playing cards to celebrate our region. A unique deck designed by Joseph Cox - Form Studio that explores the character and charm of England's largest county.

The cards feature icons, landmarks, inventions and more from across the Yorkshire regions. They're perfect for traditional card games or creative variations. Play as you would with standard cards, or try the included regional twist: collect matching North, East, South and West Yorkshire cards within each theme to win - our Yorkshire variation on Happy Families and Go Fish.
