🚨 A Splendid Tea Out Needs You (To Save the Festival!) 🚨
​As we start looking ahead and planning for next year, we need to have an open and honest conversation with our amazing community.
​We love putting this event together, but the reality is that we cannot do it alone. The heart and soul of our weekend relies entirely on having enough hands on deck. To put it bluntly: without the tea room, there is no festival. It is a vital piece of the puzzle, and we simply cannot open the doors next year unless we secure enough volunteers to step forward and run it.
​If you love the festival and want to see it return, we need you now more than ever.
​How you can help keep the festival alive:
​Volunteer to run the tea room: We need a dedicated team to step forward to manage the space, brew the tea, and keep things running smoothly over the weekend.
​Share this post: If you can't volunteer yourself, please share this with friends, family, or local groups who might want to get involved.
​We want nothing more than to bring everyone back together next year, but we truly cannot do it without a team behind us. If you can spare some time to help run the tea room and save the festival, please let us know.

In the 1600s, new scientific inventions such as telescopes, microscopes and binoculars allowed people to view the world differently. Margaret Cavendish had strong opinions about this! Experiment with kaleidoscopes and have a go at creating your own with artist Tania Holmes.
