Getting pieces ready for the upcoming Scottish glass society show on Connections. Thought you couldn't get much more connected than lichens, a symbiosis between a fungus and algae.The final piece relies on internal connections of the collaged pieces for effectiveness.

We love your new glass works ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ ! Rebecca suggested a post box would go down well, and we agree - all the colourful cheer of the famous post box on the Brae, Kincraig! Expertly show cased by Catriona, Jaya and Ella !

Anne also runs a lovely gallery through in Kingussie, Chapel House Arts, 100 High Street. Well worth a visit.

By special request of the Old Post Office gallery, two (now three) Kincraig post boxes now in the kiln!

Pleased with these, but an osprey post box topper is quite challenging in glass!

Two Summer exhibitions now running. The Old Kirk exhibition opens tomorrow, a week later than planned due to the Glenmore fire. The second photo shows work put into the SBSA Summer exhibition at the Iona gallery. Come along to see some lovely art work!

June was an exceptionally busy month for classes. I had about 4 Make a fused glass bird class, see photos. And Lynn who visits every year had about 5 sessions making glass feathers, a tree, a curve and a platter!

Now need to make some things quickly ready for all the August exhibitions.
