Well itā€™s not a day for much out there! midges an endless rainā€¦ Summer in the Highlands! so a good day for messing with wool. Current work in progress , it will be a lovely bumble bee in a garden, Inspired by Strathpefferā€™s beautiful garden open day yesterday .

It reminded me of the Peter rabbit garden I did a few years ago after visiting it in the lakes ā¤ļø this piece was wet felted first then detail added, rather than fully needle-felted like I do now.

Edit- bee pic is now complete , much cheerier than the rain!

Latest piece complete. Iā€™ve decided to do a collection of game birds, so last night I finished my red legged partridge. Iā€™m going to complete this set then move onto some dogs, starting with our own crew. My work will be focussed on 2d needle felting, mostly portraits with some landscapes occasionally do a change!
