🎊We Got Married🎊

A bit of a different weekend for us, instead of hog roasting, farming or being behind a market stall we instead spent the day getting married at the_grouse_and_claret

Many of you will likely have presumed we were already married but after 10 years together we decided to make it official 😊

We are back to normality this weekend with a hog roast at Kinross Farmers Market!

Thank you to everyone who came and saw us at Kinross Show, whether that was for a hog roast roll for lunch or watching Ian at one of the butchery demos 😊 We hope you all had a fabulous day

This is the only photo I managed all day, our Dads Ian and John hard at work carving the pig getting ready for serving while Ian was off doing the first butchery demo - it really is a family affair!

Our hog roast can next be found at KLEO’s Kinross Summer Market in the market park on Saturday the 22nd of August 😊

It is Kinross Show week! We will be at the show on Saturday with our fabulous free-range hog roast 😋

Kinross Show is a fabulous day out for the whole family with lots of see and do including an education tent, cattle and sheep showing classes and a craft tent

Ian will also be doing a butchery demonstration in the demonstration tent at 2.30pm

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday 😊

🥩Beef 🥩

This weekend we are delighted to have a full selection of our Aberdeen Angus Beef available. As always it’s from our own farm - bred, reared and butchered by us. Butchery is already underway and it looks amazing 😋

We have focused on BBQ cuts for this month with a brilliant selection for these hot summers days ☀️
The selection includes a full selection of steaks - fillet, sirloin, ribeye, rump, flat iron and lots of minute steaks
Chuck roasts for amazing pulled beef, brisket and ribs for the smoker
Along with this we will have lots of burgers and sausages

All this beef and more will be available along with our free range pork and both at Kinross market and stirlingfarmersmarketscotland this Saturday.

If you wish to order anything in advance feel free to send an order in and we will pop it aside for you. Collection is also available from our on farm honesty shop 😊

We hope everyone enjoys the weather and we will hopefully see you over the weekend

We are looking forward to attending West Fife Show tomorrow with our delicious hog roast 😋 Ian, John, Ian and Alasdair will be hard at work

Meanwhile the girls team, Helen and I, will be selling our free-range rare breed pork at Perth Farmers' Market

We look forward to seeing lots of you tomorrow at both events 😊

Although we have no markets this weekend it’s still possible to get stocked up with our amazing meat.

We have a brilliant selection of both free range pork and Kerry beef available in our farm honesty shop, easily found by typing Rootin’ and Roamin’ into google maps 😊

We would be hugely grateful and even have some special offers on in the farm shop to give you are great deal if you are looking to stock up your freezer

This Saturday marks our first hog roast of the season and we are delighted to be back at Cleish fete and classic car show.

🥩Kerry Beef 🥩

We are delighted to announce we will have fresh beef again this weekend. It’s the first of our Kerry beef and it looks amazing. We can’t wait to taste it 😋

We will have a fresh selection at both stirlingfarmersmarket and Kinross Market this Saturday. Orders are now being for individual cuts of beef for collection at either market or from the farm shop. Please get in touch with any orders you might have 😊

Along side this we will be offering our ever popular 10kg beef boxes which are priced at £160. These boxes contain a selection of cuts including roasts, stew, mince, steaks, slow cook cuts and are a great way to try different cuts you wouldn’t normally buy. They are also brilliant value

Don’t get caught snoozing like our piglets tomorrow and come along and see us at perthfarmersmkt or denheadfarmproduce markets. The weather looks good till 12 so we would definitely recommend coming along early!
