Market-goers are invited to drop in for coffee, cake and a ‘conversation about care possibilities’ at the Local Help My Way stall.

Sooner or later, you or a loved one will need a little help to go on living independently at home. And here’s where Local Help My Way comes in.

Local Help My Way aims to offer people choice and control over the support they receive, so that they get the help they need to do the things that matter most to them.

At the same time Local Help My Way seeks out people who like helping people and assists to set up as small, local, independent paid providers of care and support within their communities, offering flexible, personalised help.

Whether you’d just like to share experiences, or you are interested in taking on some part- or full-time work helping other people, or you are thinking about finding some help for yourself or a loved one, the Local Help My Way stall is the place to come for a chat.

Local Help My Way is a brand new initiative run by local charity Support Staffordshire and funded by Staffordshire County Council.

Look out for the ‘Local Help My Way’ bunting, and come and see us!
