After a busy summer with kids at home I've missed making pottery! Here's a little flower owl aka Flowl that I've made today. The last one I did in very bright colours but I think this one will be more autumny browns and oranges once it's made it through the bisque firing.

I've been slowly adding my handmade ceramic wreaths onto my Etsy shop this week. I've got a few more to add but getting there slowly! The school summer holidays will mean less making with two little girls at home to keep busy but the Etsy shop is open as usual for business. I will just be closing it from 30th July for a week while we take a small family holiday.

Holmfirth Artweek is on this week! If you live in Yorkshire and love arts and crafts this is such an amazing exhibition. It's full of local artists work and they have a shop where you can buy loads of lovely handmade crafted items too! They also raise a lot of money for charity. I've entered two ceramic pieces into the main exhibition and a few smaller items into the market place including my new ceramic wreath gifts, some smaller ceramic animals and some of my bird prints.
