📆 Monkey Town has confirmed it will be opening its doors in Kirkby town centre on Sunday 18 October 2026.

📍Located on Cherryfield Drive in the heart of the town centre, this new 16,000 sq ft purpose-built venue includes something for all ages from ball pools, sensory play through to a large jungle-themed adventure area and an immersive gaming pixel floor with multiple game modes.

🗨️ Cllr Tony Brennan, Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Economic Development, said: “Internal works have been progressing at pace since Monkey Town took over the unit on Cherryfield Drive. I’m delighted that they have a confirmed opening date of 18 October, ahead of the important school holidays, and it will provide opportunities to meet up and socialise whilst also providing family fun.”

📚🎓Adult learning on Kirkby’s high street - Knowsley FACE🎓📚

📚🎓The Knowsley Family and Community Education (FACE) officially opens in Kirkby town centre on Wednesday 26 August 2026.📚🎓

Based on St Chad’s Parade, it helps local residents to access learning and training opportunities, improve their skills and gain qualifications.

From 9.30am on 26 August, residents and visitors to the town can call in to find out more about the courses on offer as well as registering on the day to try something new and learn new skills

The aim of the high street offer is to improve resident’s emotional and physical wellbeing, gain qualifications which could lead to employment opportunities.

Courses on offer from September include:-

Food Safety
Understanding Autism
Mental Health Awareness
Feel good with flowers
Food and mood
Functional English skills
Teaching Assistant Course
