What’s on the lineup:
✨ Breathtaking acrobatic shows by the Acro-Trio the Black Eagles
✨ Aerial & Lollipop Hoop workshops and performances
✨ Ribbon workshops for all ages
✨ Towering Stilt Walkers
✨ A spectacular roller-skating performance by Paul Curran & Kirkby’s very own Louise Dutton
🎹 All accompanied by a live pianist playing throughout the day!

Get ready for a day of jaw-dropping thrills and free family fun, brought to you by the Kirkby Neighbourhood Board & Kirkby Town Centre!
We’re turning up the excitement with a spectacular Circus Spectacular! From elite international talent to interactive workshops, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

What’s on the lineup:
✨ Breathtaking acrobatic shows by the Acro-Trio the Black Eagles
✨ Aerial & Lollipop Hoop workshops and performances
✨ Ribbon workshops for all ages
✨ Towering Stilt Walkers
✨ A spectacular roller-skating performance by Paul Curran & Kirkby’s very own Louise Dutton

📢 At a meeting of Knowsley Council’s Cabinet, members agreed to proceed with its next investment into Kirkby town centre which will see a new purpose-built leisure facility that will be anchored by a modern indoor padel tennis facility enhancing opportunities for leisure, health and wellbeing.

✅ The new 32,000 sq ft facility will be capable of accommodating up to 6 padel tennis courts alongside changing facilities, a café and social space with areas especially designed for community use.

🗨️ Cllr Tony Brennan, Knowsley Council’s Cabinet Member for Regeneration & Economic Development said: “I am really pleased that colleagues have backed these latest investment proposals for Kirkby. Based on the feedback we have received from a number of public consultations which includes people want a leisure offer, family spaces and facilities for young people, we have looked to boost the leisure offering in the town centre for many years so to be able to combine that desire with delivering something that can potentially also boost health and wellbeing is just great.”

A Summer of FREE family fun is coming to Kirkby Town Centre – starting with a whole day of World Cup themed activities on Saturday, 18 July, from 11am – 3pm!⚽️☀️

Funded by your Kirkby Neighbourhood Board and the Government’s Pride in Place funding, Kirkby Town Centre will be going World Cup crazy for the day with activities including Freestyle Footballers, Workshops, Performances, Rodeo football, Footpool and much more!🤩🎉

It’s the first of a series of free summer events being hosted in Kirkby Town Centre this summer – so keep an eye on the Kirkby Neighbourhood Board website for more details!👀
