This whole social media malarkey is hard.

You have to produce pretty pictures to get strangers to buy your cakes haha.

So just come and buy my cakes so I don’t need to keep working on my photography skills. I prefer making/buying the cakes than taking pictures of them 🫣

Another stunning neighbourly delivery, this time from John at Fife Forge on the high street.

The weekend dessert special will be home made apple crumble (GFI and Vegan. We do handle gluten in house and so cannot guarantee 100% GF )Served warm with vegan cream or vegan ice cream 😍

I’ve also discovered a vegan “Lobster” roll recipe which I will put on along side some lobster rolls sourced from Crail Harbour.

We are far too good to you all!

Well the smell of freshly baked croissants fill the coffee shop today.

I’m testing some Scone recipes ( I’m not a fan but so many of you are)

I’m also going to be rotating some traditional Scottish baking so keep an eye out for fresh Shortbread, rock buns, Dundee cake, millionaire shortbread and maybe even some Cranachan Croissants 😉

If only my Home Ec teacher could see me now, just minus the slamming a rolling pin on the table when people talked 🙈🙈🙈

To the little cherubs who like to persistently break into our private property, your pictures have been sent to the police.

To do it while we’re open and busy on a Friday afternoon is blatant disrespect for hard working locals.

Tell your little friends that this isn’t a cool hang out spot anymore.

I’ve had enough!

If anyone knows names then please do send them to me because they will be getting charged with breaking and entering as they have come through multiple private properties. I’ll also be sharing this with the college.

What a week and it’s not even the busy bit yet!!!!

Tomorrow I’m making Peach Cobbler filled croissants 🥐 crumble crumb bit of demarara sugar. If someone can come and make this whole thing Viral on the Tok I’ll give you one for free 🙈

The weekend special is going to a little different this week because I’m a silly head. It was so busy I forgot to ask Fat Tony's for Focaccia and he’s so fricking busy he didn’t remind me so it’s all Tony’s fault. I adore his busyness by please guys, save some bread for me 🤣 He’s also going to be doing a pop up behind the counter this weekend and we have some incredible pop ups planned from some more local celebrities in the coming weeks.

The way this community has wrapped its arms around me in the last 6 weeks and the way other local businesses have supported our launch has been magical.

I honestly don’t know what I did to deserve the love but please keep it coming because I’m STARVED 🤣

Thursday morning. How have we made it all the way to this half of the week? 😅

We have a couple of new additions to the cake cabinet. Butterscotch and pecan buns. Almond croissants and the return of Jaffa cake.

Take away cakes are 3 for £10 🎉

Soup today is Sweet potato, chilli and coconut (Ve & GF) served up with toasted focaccia or gluten free ciabatta.

Coffees are flowing and delicious.

Did you know that we don’t have WiFi.

Did you know that you are absolutely allowed to disconnect and UnWynd.

When setting up the coffee shop one of the biggest things that was on my mind was what can we do differently. We want to encourage social connection, conversation and mental wellness but how do we do that? Well firstly, we get rid of the desire to sit clacking away and scrolling endlessly.

I understand the irony of saying this on social media but I think more of us need to disconnect from the internet regularly and reconnect with humanity 🩷
