It’s World Book Day and your booksellers are having a fabulous time gifting books to our local young book worms 🐛 🐛🐛🐛

Elizabeth is visiting schools with books for nursery to P7 readers. Stewart has been welcoming small visitors to the shop…. And has met many mini dinosaurs, pirates and wizards!

We’re here until 4.30 today to exchange book tokens….. our WBD books will be available until the end of March.

*Please bear in mind booksellers don’t receive any funding to supply these books. They are a gift from us to encourage reading. Please be kind if we are unable to supply the books in large quantities!

We had the most beautiful trip to Venice this week. A perfect break to relax and recharge after a busy 2025.
And a perfect opportunity to do plenty of reading for 2026 - but I couldn’t resist taking The Glassmaker with me. It was a joy to read it overlooking the Grand Canal, and be respirated back in time by the glorious story of Orsola Rosso 📚📚📚📚
