Honestly Aurora, you have absolutely made my whole day. What a gorgeous little soul. I’ve watched this video over and over and it’s genuinely made me smile from within. 🥹🤍

Last night the lovely Tina won our raffle for this big beautiful pre-loved wooden kitchen for Annabelle’s little girl, Aurora.

It was only AFTER we’d drawn the raffle that I found out Aurora has her birthday coming up… and straight away I thought, you know what, don’t pay for your raffle tickets. Let us gift the kitchen to her for her birthday instead. 🎂🤍

And then we get sent THIS today. 😭

This is everything I love about Second Chance. Something pre-loved, getting another little life and putting the biggest smile on another child’s face. 🥹

We’ve built such a lovely little community here and whenever we can do something that makes somebody’s day a little brighter, we will. 🤍

But I think Aurora has actually made OUR day more than we made hers. 🥹

You are SO welcome gorgeous girl. Tasha & Gina love you too. Now go and make us some pretend brews in that new kitchen! 😂🥹🤍

Home now after an absolutely CRAZY night at Second Chance… and all I can really say is thank you. 🥹🤍

If you were on our 5–8pm live tonight, you’ll know just how manic it was 🤣 We covered SO much stock and I’m sorry I didn’t quite get through it all… but honestly, I couldn’t have gone any faster if I tried! 😂

For that first hour I was pretty much doing a bag a minute, and by the end we were heading towards 100 bags! Some of you have multiple bags too, so the amount of orders tonight was just incredible. 🤍

And once the live ends, the work definitely doesn’t 😂 Bags to tie, orders to organise, stock to move, everything to tidy and the shop to get lovely and ready to open again tomorrow. Me and my little team have worked our socks off tonight and I’m very proud of us.

That’s why for now we’re keeping our lives around 3–4 hours but doing more of them. It gives us time to keep on top of everything behind the scenes, while remembering we’re mamas too and there are school runs waiting for us in the morning. 🤣🤍

Eeeek… I finally have my very own live sale room! 🥹🤍

This little space has been taking shape upstairs, and I honestly can’t tell you how happy I am with it. Expect to see me on camera a lot more soon, including some daytime lives! 👀

Behind the scenes, the six weeks holidays have been a little bit of a struggle for me. With a constant flow of stock coming in, but not being in the shop as much to work through it, everything has just been piling up and piling up. I think I got to the point where I didn’t even know where to start 😂

But I’ve been so lucky to have the lovely Susie from Sorted ETC helping me. She has been absolutely amazing and has completely stripped my upstairs stockroom and live area back, helping me get everything organised and back under control. I honestly can’t thank her enough.

And now we’re left with this absolute little beauty of a room to do our live sales from. 😍

I feel like I’m having a big declutter in every aspect of my life at the moment. The business, the house, and with us moving into a new home soon too, it just feels like so many lovely things are falling into place.

I’ve been working really hard on looking after me recently, getting rid of the things that cause me unnecessary stress and making more room for the things that make me happy. Good, clean energy, a clear mind and a happy little me. 🤍

And honestly, it’s been doing me the world of good.

Here’s to fresh starts, lovely new spaces and lots more Second Chance lives. ✨

A little more time to shop, TWO brand new toy lives and lots of exciting things happening behind the scenes… this week is looking GOOD! 😍🤍

First up, we’re growing our opening days! From tomorrow, we’ll now be open on Tuesdays too, giving you all another day to pop in, collect your orders and have a lovely browse. 🛍️

Our new opening hours
Tuesday – Friday | 9:30am – 2:30pm
Saturday | 10am – 3pm

And then we’ve got our live line-up for the week… 🙌🏽

🧸 Wednesday | 5pm – 8:30pm
🧸 Friday | 5pm – 9:30pm

Both lives will be ALL BRAND NEW TOYS! We’ve got two suppliers bringing us a lovely mix for all ages, with lots of completely unseen stock. I’m so excited to show you what we’ve got coming! 🎁

There’s also a lot going on behind the scenes this week. Me, Gina and Meg have got a busy one ahead, with some really exciting things in the pipeline that I can’t wait to share with you all. 🤍

Thank you for keeping us so busy and allowing Second Chance to keep growing. It means more than you know.

Honestly… we need supervising. 😭😂

Three mums.
No kids.
A night away in Liverpool.

Lovely meal. Drinks. Child free.

You’d think this morning we’d enjoy a nice peaceful lie in wouldn’t you?

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Up bright and early because apparently all three of us were far too excited to get to IKEA. 😭😂

And THIS is where we’ve ended up…

Gina on Meg’s shoulders, me encouraging the whole thing and the three of us laughing so much we can barely breathe.

Honestly, this has been us ALL weekend. We have been in absolute stitches from the minute we left. Over nothing as well. 😂 You know when you’re with people who just bring out the absolute daftest version of you? These two are mine. 🤍

We can dress ourselves up, go somewhere lovely, pretend to be sophisticated for a few hours…

Then give us three IKEA bucket hats and THIS is who we really are. 😭😂

No airs and graces. No taking ourselves too seriously. Just three slightly crazy women who work hard, love life and apparently find absolutely EVERYTHING funny.

If you ever wonder what it’s like working at Second Chance… this. This is basically it. 😂🤍

My little team. 🥹 The girls who are beside me through the busy days, the crazy days and everything in between.

I’m so proud to have them both beside me and even prouder of the little team we’ve become. Second Chance wouldn’t be the same without you two.

Tonight is all about switching off, good food, plenty of laughs and celebrating US. So deserved girls. 🤎✨
