Stitch & Yarn Stitch & Yarn is more than a shop, we're the creative heart of Kirkintilloch. I Sew 2 is more than a fabric, yarn and haberdashery shop. It is something unique.

We provide friendly, expert service and quality supplies, inspiring customers to create beautiful, lasting pieces while building connections with fellow crafters. As you enter the shop, a treasure trove of fabrics, yarns, and a whole host of haberdashery and accessories are there to greet you. The fabric, yarn and thread colours range from subtle to vibrant. The yarns come in all shapes and sizes.

There is something for everyone at I Sew 2. If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask a member of the team.

If you see a design you like however aren't sure about the yarn we'll help work out a yarn substitution. This King Cole Yarn & Pattern Supplier jumper is for Jitterbug however Sharon wanted to use Cottonsoft. 100% cotton ideal for comfortable and breathable garments for this unusually great spell of hot weather.

Taylor your machine needle to the fabric you are going to sew. Fine ones, heavy ones. Ball point, sharps or stretch. We can help advise what type would work best for you and also the optimum size.

It's probably been the ☀️ hottest day of July so far & I found myself crocheting with a chunky wool 🐑

We are planning a refresh of our double knit acrylics & blends so I've stayed behind to get my head around the process.
