Better late than never, we are finally back! We are now online only, offering click and collect, free local delivery and nationwide shipping.

As this new venture is totally different to having retail premises we have started off with a smaller selection of popular pick and mix sweets to test the waters.

If there are sweets we don't have that you'd like us to stock, then please let us know in the comments, and the most popular ones will get added on to our next order!

Now I will admit, neither of us is very technical and we've done the website ourselves 🙈so if there are any glitches or errors, please tell us 😄

We are super excited to see where this leads, so thank you for sticking with us and joining us on this new start for Yorkshire Mixture.

After three amazing years running our little shop, our lease was due for renegotiation shortly, and we have taken the decision not to renew it. There are a few reasons for this but the main one is the cost of living crisis and the effects this has had on our business - increased costs, supply chain issues, dramatic lack of footfall from visitors, (especially over winter and when the weather is bad) etc. All is not lost though! Our business will be continuing in a different form, and we will have an announcement to make in the coming weeks so watch this space 👀 🥳

We really have got the loveliest most loyal customers and we'd like to thank you all so much for your support, custom and funny conversations over these years 😁 Paul and Pauline ❤️

We have been joined in Green Dragon Yard this weekend by Knaresborough Horticultural Society who are holding a 2 day plant sale. There are some beautiful plants at great prices and while you're here why not take a seat at one of our outdoor tables and relax in our beautiful Yard with a tea, coffee, ice cream sundae, banana split or a delicious ice cream milkshake? 🍨☕🌺

A MASSIVE thankyou to all of our lovely customers who have donated to our Guide Dogs charity collection, you have raised an amazing £135.88!

Guide Dogs are an absolute lifeline for many people affected by sight loss, it's costs on average £55,000 to support a single guide dog from birth to retirement so all donations are a most gratefully received. 🐶🐾

It's a lovely weekend for getting out in the Garden! Our seedball range makes it simple, even for a total beginner, to create a wildlife attracting mini meadow in your garden, whether in full sun or the shade. With a clay and chilli coating birds and insects are discouraged from eating the seeds, giving your meadow the best chance of success. Award winning and peat free. 🌸🐦🦋🐝🐞🦇🦔🌻

We also have some RHS Morning Glory plants for sale, grown from seeds saved last summer from our Knaresborough In Bloom Silver award winning garden!
