Ya know, I wish other repair techs in cas and local area would think the same, there’s enough work for all of us, we all should help each other but for some unknown reason everyone else is bare toxic. Wouldn’t last two mins at tech max as us lot that gp there help each other out and that the ethos of the uk repair techs page. Eh well, life I guess.
Anyways here’s some pics of a controller with thumb stick replaced.

I guess I now repair car ecu’s.
Something I never thought to repair in all fairness. This one was bare simple with just a fallen off coil. Re solder it back on and ran a jumper as one trace was shot as well. And for good measure as one pad was gone and a trace blown I’ve popped some b7000 on to secure the coil.

iPhone 14 Pro battery replaced as the customer stated that it won’t charge past 1%.
I already knew what the issue was and it’s called tag on flex to spoof the iPhone into thinking it’s got a genuine battery fitted. Nope not at all.

Bare buzzin, I’ll be reducing intake for repairs from the public as b2b repairs ramp up.

Just repaired a iPad Pro 12.9 6th gen for not having display output.

That in itself is not a biggy but it’s for who the repair was for that’s the biggy. That Im keeping well secret.

Upwards the direction, onwards I’ll be going!

Tester screen should look like that as the tech that took it off at cex’s repair centre went hammer and tong at it.

My last job was at remedy tech centre and that where I bought the iPad from that turned out to ic locked so it got used for parts.
