A classic vintage 1940's Louis Rousselet glass pearl Lavalier Necklace. Lovely feminine and delicate design.

A single row of oval baroque glass pearls supports twin cluster of graduated glass pearls in six rows topped by a single circlet of small glass pearls. A central glass pearl rosette with a tassle drop of six rows of graduated glass pearls. An extender chain and hook clasp completes the necklace.

Length of 13.1/2 inch with extender chain of 2.1/2 inch.

In excellent vintage condition with no peeling or damage to the glass pearls.

A fabulous vintage 1940's French pink and green gripoix poured glass pendant necklace, possibly by Louis Rousselet for one of the major couture houses.
A double row gold tone chain with pink and green poured glass beads and glass pearls supports a pendant drop set with pink and green poured glass and glass pearl drop beads and a central pink poured glass cabachon, all wired to a filigree gold tone back. A cabachon pearl set box clasp secures.
The quality of the poured glass is exceptional, which would point to someone of the calibre of Louis Rousselet and we believe the beads to have certainly been produced by his workshop.

Length of necklace 22 inch with pendant 2 inch x 1.1/2 inch.

The condition is excellent with all glass pearls in good order.
