Let’s be honest, buying plants from the supermarket or one of those giant DIY chains is a gamble. You bring home a lovely looking shrub, give it a nice cuppa, and it drops all its leaves by Tuesday.

This weekend, skip the supermarket drama and support your local independent nursery instead.

Our plants are proper hardy, we actually know our onions, and you don’t have to hunt down a teenager across a warehouse for some plant advice that they got from reading the label!

Best of all, once you’ve handpicked your plants with some excellent guidance from our friendly team, you can pop into our café for a proper cup of tea and a slice of cake.

No apps, no fuss, no giant out of town retail outlets that feel as generic as the next.

Here at Plumleys we’re all about good plants and a blooming marvellous sit-down. 🍰☕

We had a visit from Congleton Classic and Vintage Car Club this morning who enjoyed a leisurely breakfast in our cafe, meanwhile our car park has never looked so fancy!

We’ve had a wonderful first day at the Royal Cheshire County Show. After a busy day setting up yesterday and a week of preparations back at HQ, it was fantastic to see all of our hard work come to life today.

A huge thank you to our show team for their efforts, enthusiasm and dedication in making the stand look so great.
