For those who knew my Father from our 15 years together at Inverinate Service Station ❤️

Unexpectedly, on Tuesday 28th April 2026, with his family by his side, Ian Alexander Carr (Sandy), Heatherbank, Auchtertyre, aged 83 years. Retired Game Keeper, Inverinate Estate. Beloved husband of Isobel, greatly loved father of Linda and Ian, loving grandfather to Anya, Lily and Chloe, dear brother to the late Sheddie, Marjorie and James and great friend to many. Funeral service on Thursday 14th May at 1.00pm in Inverinate Church; thereafter to Clachan Duich Burial Ground. All friends welcome to attend. Family flowers only, donations invited for Highlands and Islands Blood Bikes. Arrangements by D.N. Munro, Glenshiel, Tel: 07799217120.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words & gifts today.

15 years ago I was a crying wreck as I was handed the keys to the shop & not much change today 15 years later 🙄

I couldn't have done what I have over the years without the support from my mum, dad, brother Ian, Ali & of course my brilliant staff both past & present. Mum sadly missed the last day as she has had a fall, but I know that she like me will miss you all. The shop has been a huge part of my life over the last 32 years & I wish David Hayes every success for the future. Thank you again to each & and every one of you, I will miss you all 🥺 ❤️

Rate of pay is £13.50 per hour along with employee discount, paid holidays and a company pension scheme.

Job description

Your duties would be serving the general public fuel and groceries, stocking shelves and maintaining a clean and tidy environment in store and on-site.
