CCI's Environment team was feeling pretty 'chipper' last week as volunteers undertook the task of replenishing the woodchip in the Bug Hotel area of our Langloch Farm Nature Trail.

If you haven't been around our Nature Trail yet, its well worth a wee wander. Who knows what you will discover? 🐦🐞🐸🦋🧚‍♀️

You can access the Nature Trail via either, the wee wooden gate beside our main entrance, or the steps by the Play Park. 🌿

Did you know we run a monthly Repair Shop at Langloch Farm? 🛠️✨

If you have a piece of wooden furniture or a wooden item that needs a second chance, bring it along! Our woodcraft team is on hand to offer expert advice and do the repairs.

More than just fixing items, this project gives our volunteers hands-on experience, teaches valuable new woodworking skills, and builds real confidence.

We are proud to run this session alongside the wonderful team at the Clydesdale Women’s Shed—working together to share skills, reduce waste, and support our community.

🗓️ When: Friday 21st August, Friday 18th September, Friday 23rd October, 1pm-3pm
📍 Where: Langloch Farm Woodcraft, Lanark

Keen to bring Sock to life, Cara used an app for the design and then through developing her cutting and sewing skills, thats exactly what she did!
