Lonsdale Scout Christmas Post Local Christmas postal service. Buy our special stamps and post in our boxes then the Scouts will deliver your Christmas cards before Christmas eve.

The 2021 Christmas post has been cancelled.

This is a huge disappointment for all concerned but we must not put our young people, parents, leaders and supporters at risk.

The ever changing situation means we cannot guarantee to be able to deliver any post.

Look out we will be back 2022

Every year on February 22, we take some time to commemorate the history of Scouts and thank those who make it possible.

This February 22 – after what’s frankly been a bit of a rubbish year – we want you to get involved too. Find out more here: https://bit.ly/2LU4UR4

Lonsdale Scouts thank everyone that use the Scouts’ Christmas Post. We are sorry that we cannot continue to deliver in the Caton and Brookhouse area which includes Claughton, Crook of Lune, Farleton, Hornby, Littledale, Melling and Wray.

Scout Groups are finding it increasingly difficult to find volunteers to sort and deliver, this is especially so in the country areas.

This is our 39th year running the post. We could not operate without all our parents, Leaders and volunteers.

All our local shop keepers deserve a medal for supporting us by advertising and selling our stamps for us. Unfortunately we have been hit hard by the demise of the small shop in favour of the supermarket where we are either not granted access to sell stamps or have to find volunteers to sell stamps in the store.

Many thanks and a Happy Christmas to everyone from
