MORRIS MODELS RETIREMENT SALE –LAST WEEK!
This coming Saturday, 27th August 2022 at 2pm Morris Models will close, having sadly failed (so far!) to find a buyer to continue with business upon our retirement.

As the retirement sale draws to a close, many items are being offered exclusively to visitors to the shop upto 50% off the original prices, with most items now offered at least 10% off the original prices.

Our opening hours this week will be 9.30am to 2.00pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Today we highlight an N Gauge Special offer – a Dapol Class 50 diesel “Illustrious” in the original lighter blue Network SouthEast livery. Limited quantities available at £100 (or DCC Fitted at £125).

MORRIS MODELS RETIREMENT SALE
All resin model buildings and accessories in the Hornby Skaledale and Bachmann Scenecraft ranges are now 25% off their original marked prices to visitors to the shop.

In most cases, we only have one of each building available, “once they’ve gone, they’ve gone”!

A selection of these will be shortly appear on our webshop at these reduced prices, but for further information please contact us by telephone during normal shop opening hours 9.30am to 2.00pm on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Remember the shop closes to visitors after close of business at 2pm on Saturday 27 August 2022.

MORRIS MODELS CLOSING SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST 2022 – FURTHER INFORMATION

Thank you for the many kind comments we have received following the announcement of the shop closing, and the many memories the news has evoked. We very much regret that we have not been able (yet) to find a buyer to continue the business.

The shop opening hours will remain unchanged before the 27th August, these being Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays between 9.30am and 2.00pm.

Orders placed for products not yet released will be met over the next few months – we will contact you as and when these become available.

Our webshop will continue to trade for a short time while remaining stock is sold.

Any unused vouchers should be presented in the shop whilst it is open. After that date, they can be used for purchases of items from the website, but contact us first and the vouchers must be returned to us by post. Don’t leave it too long though!

If you have goods already set aside awaiting collection, please arrange to do so before the above date.

If you are wishing to have rolling stock repaired (or any Warranty issues), please contact us for alternative arrangements.

MORRIS MODELS CLOSING SATURDAY 27TH AUGUST 2022

We hoped to be able to find a purchaser to continue running the business, but are disappointed these attempts have not (so far) proved successful.

Saturday 27th August 2022 will therefore be the last day our Lancing shop will be open; limited on-line sales will continue for a limited period.

There are plenty of bargains to be had in the shop before closing, only some of these will be available on line but we will be adding more in the days to come.

The shop opening hours will remain unchanged before the 27th August, these being Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays between 9.30am and 2.00pm.

RETIREMENT SALE
Morris Models has been a much-loved part of the local and wider modelling community for nearly 60 years and so as we prepare for retirement, we had hoped to find a buyer to continue this legacy. However, this is beginning to look less likely. No date for closure has been set, so we would encourage you to visit the shop to pick up some bargains while you can, for example all Scalextric Cars, Track etc.
We will continue to receive deliveries of new releases to meet the pre-orders received from customers and will keep you advised as and when they arrive.

MORRIS MODELS REOPENING Monday 31st January – with new SPECIAL OFFERS
We are pleased to confirm that Morris Models Lancing shop will be re-opening to customers on Monday 31st January 2022 at 9.30am.

Our hours will return to being Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays between 9.30am and 2pm (closed Bank Holidays).

We will once more be able to accept “Click & Collect” orders from local customers placed on our webshop for collection from the shop during normal opening hours. Please await email confirmation that your order is ready for collection before setting out to the shop; orders will be processed as quickly as possible, but please note that the shop is not open every day. To welcome customers back into the shop, we are pleased to announce that we will have a number of Special Offers with up to 25% off the original marked price. These offers include a selection of items from the ranges of railway rolling stock, Scalextric Cars, Buildings, plastic kits, diecast models. Track, electrical accessories, paint and similar items are not included. Stock delivered new since January 2020 will also not be included. Initially, these will be available to those visiting the shop, but will gradually be added to our online webshop over the following weeks.

New items in stock include EFE Rail motorised London Underground Tube train and Bachmann’s newly tooled V2 steam loco and Class 47 diesels. These will be added to our webshop shortly.
