A question I get all the time: 💬 “What’s the best way to store my coffee?”

Good news—it’s a lot simpler than the internet makes it sound. Here’s what I recommend 👇

✅ Keep the bag sealed.
✅ Store it somewhere cool, dark and dry, away from strong smells.
✅ Only grind what you need.
✅ No fridge.
✅ Buy little and often—fresh coffee is better than stockpiling it.

For filter coffee, I recommend waiting at least 24 hours after the roast date before drinking it—or 48 hours for espresso-based drinks.

It really starts to hit its sweet spot between 7 and 21 days after roasting. Every bag we send is freshly roasted, so you’ll have plenty of that prime drinking window ahead of you.

You've bought great coffee. Now, where are you keeping it?

Because how you store your coffee can make a real difference to how it tastes.

Coffee doesn't particularly like air, moisture, heat or light, so once you've opened your bag, you want to keep it somewhere cool, dry and away from direct sunlight.

An airtight container or properly resealed coffee bag in the cupboard is ideal.

And that spot next to the kettle where it's warm and steamy all day? Maybe not.

Freshly roasted coffee deserves to stay fresh for as long as possible.
