Great initiative. 20, is absolutely plenty through our streets, passing our precious historic buildings.
Thank you… Langport - Where It's To

Calling all residents and businesses along Bow Street and Cheapside.

We’re all a bit concerned about road safety through the heart of . and are busy streets. We all live here, work here, shop here, drive through and cross the road here every day.

They are also a 20mph zone, and we thought a friendly reminder to all drivers to slow down wouldn’t be a bad idea. So we’ve come up with something very simple.

An A4 20 IS PLENTY poster.

One poster might not make much difference. A whole street full of them just might.

From Monday 21 September, volunteers will be out delivering posters to homes and businesses along Bow Street and Cheapside. We’re asking you, please, to pop one in YOUR window for just one week, from 3rd to 10th October.

That’s it. Just a simple community reminder to slow down and take a little more care, and we would love to see as many windows as possible filled with them. Please put your poster up., and if you need more than one, let us know.

When you’re driving through Langport, please take notice. It’s a small thing, but if enough of us do it, it might just make a difference. 20 is plenty.

NEW TO THE BUS? We can help!

✋ Please signal to the driver that you wish to board the bus by flagging the bus down with your hand or arm as it approaches you.

🙋‍♀️ Not sure where to get off, or where your destination stop is? We have next bus stop screens and audio announcements on our buses, and you can ask the driver too, if you need help with where to alight.

🛎️ When you are approaching the stop you wish to get off at, please press one of the bells to advise the driver that they should stop to let you off the bus.
