Small Businesses Are Beautiful Places Of Natural Beauty Albeit Typically More Expensive But Here's My 5 Reasons Of Why Small Business Matters from a thriving small business.

1. They tend to be owned by 1-2 people typically families that are your neighbour.

2. They listen and when they don't they tend to go out of business. The Small Business that listens to their customers are the ones who are still around 25 years later, they also physically listen to you, your stories, your woes, your complaints and your celebrations.

3. They literally invest in your local area they literally breath life into your town by investing using loans, profits and even donations to your local schools, community gardens, community events. Have you ever wondered how much your own investment in say your own home would be worth if your area was to go down in tourist value, shop value the list is endless.

4. Items would be much more generic. Small Business tends to use a lot more handmade items in their stock list which ultimately helps other small businesses to remain in business there is a whole ecosystem of logistical operations from maker to the trucker who delivers the goods.

5. Small & Medium Size Businesses control 60% of private sector employment in the UK and staggeringly 99.85% of private sector businesses are SMEs meaning that when you think you live in a world of Corporations within the UK you must think again. Even if there was a day where corporations controlled the market they would still need a creator of the product they sell.

One of our favourite additions of the shop this year wasn't simply more plants or a new exclusive plant that our shop absolutely thrives on but instead it was beautiful soaps and hand moisturisers 💚

You enjoyed them by gifting them to your friend a family member and simply yourself! Everyone complemented how the shop smelt so great and everyone said
"what's that smell?" And of course it was the soaps

Our favourite was definitely the Sicilian lemon and orange 🍊🧡 it's back in stock available for all to enjoy and we've doubled down and got double the moisturiser for all to enjoy with some Christmas ones in too ( a little ahead of season)

We love seeing your at home planters and this one brought us so much joy! This is an array of white Petunias there was ivy in here but the petunias definitely won the battle. If your a lover of the white and green style this one is for you 😁💚

We Have A New Position Available At Our Plant Shop

It's coming to the end of the season but we're still very busy and our online business is blooming 🌹🪻

If your a lover for boxes, plants and people we would love for you to join our store on a seasonal basis

All training will be given on the expectations of working at our Plant Shop.

Heavy lifting, ability to adapt to a modern online business (Use Of Computers are essential) & potential increased hours is essential to our small business.

It's show day! 🪅🎉🌹🪻
Make sure to drop by the Largs Flower show for it's 185th Anniversary with guest speakers from Beechgrove Garden 😱😲

We were very happy when the Largs Horticultural Society asked for our participation in making the outside look wonderful and they came to the best place locally for this time of year as we are abundant in colour 😁 So of course we were very happy to Loan our beautiful plants to the Flower Show Taking many Chrysanthemums and Rudbeckia which if you get tempted to buy them you can always ask a staff member and they'll be happy to sell you one of our own Chrysanthemums 😁👏💚
