I'm Tegan, 24-years-old and freshly graduated from Queen's University with a Masters in Marketing! I'd say I had always been a little creative as a child - but it was really my granny who got me into more crafting-type activities, like knitting, sewing and tapestries. I hadn't really looked at things like this for a few years, then lockdown came and I started to look more into local businesses to support coming up to Christmas 2020. I found macramé - a knot-tying craft - and, long-story short, decided it was time to fulfil my dream of starting a small business! I never thought I'd say this, but I now have an Etsy page where you can have a little nosey or even buy some of my crafts! Just search 'RavelAndTwine' on Etsy or hit the 'Shop Now' button at the top of the page and it will take you straight there! I had the best day at my very first market in Saintfield this weekend! 🌟

Great to be a part of the ‘behind the scenes’ finally, and to meet and catch up with some lovely local businesses for the start of the festive season 🎄

Thank you again to for asking Ravel & Twine to be part of such a lovely day! 🌟

And yes, I’m grateful to family and friends who supplied me with consistent tea throughout the day 🫖

Very VERY excited to be doing my first market for Ravel & Twine in Saintfield next Saturday! 🎉

🌟 ONLY ONE WEEK TO GO 🌟

I’m very thankful to be asked to sell at the Artisan Craft Fair in 2nd Saintfield Presbyterian next week, alongside the company of 37 other local makers and crafters! 👩🏼‍🎨

Please share and join us! There will be anything from flowers 🌸, prints and paintings 🖼️, to children gifts 👧🏻, jams 🫙 and jewellery 💍

I’ll be bringing along A LOT of Christmas stock - all my usuals and a few new bits which you can only pick up at the market 👀 alongside plenty of mug rugs, dreamcatchers, wristlets, flowers and pumpkins (if you’re into that at Christmas time) 😂

It’s daffodil season! 🌼

The last few weekends with the sunshine is such a nice reminder that Spring is coming - if, of course, you haven’t seen these little ones pop up all over the place!

And, if you haven’t started thinking about Mother’s Day just yet, my little macramé flowers are a great gift for the occasion 🌸🌼🌺 I do also have Dusty Rose, Olive Green and Snow White as alternative colours, though my Mustard Yellow for the daffodil is the perfect symbol for any mother’s strength and resilience 🌼

Hope everyone is looking forward to the weekend as much as I am 🎄🎅🏼 and ONLY one weekend left after this until CHRISTMAS!!!!

On this note, I just wanted to pop up a little reminder that I will be closing the shop from SUNDAY 17th DECEMBER at noon to ensure all orders have a chance of making it to homes before the big day! 📮

I will be shut for a few weeks over the festive period as a little break, but I will reopen soon after the New Year 🌟

Any orders currently placed, should be dispatched over the weekend!

It’s been lovely having a little flurry of Christmas decor orders over the last few days, so I just want to say thank you to all those supporting local and following along the journey! 🎄

Still a few bits and pieces left for Christmas on my Etsy, and great as last minute stocking fillers too!

Just a note that I will be announcing a last order date before shutting shop for a few weeks to enjoy the festive period, but more on that next week! 🎅🏼

It’s still the morning, and I think I’ve heard every single Christmas song there ever was made - but I’m not complaining 🎄🎅🏼

A little late on the bandwagon with Christmas launches on 23rd November, but here we are 😂

I finally got around to making what I’ve wanted to do for the last few years - mini candy cane garlands!

I’ve made these especially to fit the size of a regular fireplace 🔥 all handmade and shaped by myself, each garland contains seven individual mini candy canes 🍭 and will be available to purchase for £15, including P&P 📮

…Now for the important bit - when are they launching you ask?
