Join us in Broadway, Larne for a hands‑on gardening workshop all about helping our precious pollinators. Perfect for beginners, families, and anyone who loves to grow things.

We are running three one‑hour sessions which includes each • A 10‑minute talk on pollinators and why they matter • An information sheet on the best plants for attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators • make your own mini planter filled with pollinator‑friendly plants to take home • All materials provided

As well at the gardening workshop on the same day from 10.30=2.30 there will be a pop up planting station were everyone is welcome to come along, choose some seeds, plant them up and take home to grow.

Our pop-up planting station will be at Broadway, Larne on Wednesday 22 July

Come along and discover how easy it is to grow your own food. Plant your own pot of salad leaves, herbs or pea shoots to take home.

Drop in anytime between 10.30am and 2.30pm and give it a go!

🎨 Calling All Budding Artists! 🎨

Here at Lunchbox Larne at AEL Café, we're working on tidying up our outdoor area so our customers can enjoy sitting outside, and we can welcome our furry friends too! 🐾

We'd love some help brightening up the space. If you're a budding artist and would be willing to donate some of your time to paint coffee cups, flowers, and other café-themed artwork on our wall, we'd be delighted to have you on board.

In return, we'll make sure you're well fed and watered! ☕🥪

Today is our very last day in Broadway and will be open from 8-4!!

After 23 years, we’ll be pulling down the shutter for the final time tonight and, hopefully, emptying the bins one last time too!

If you’d like to visit us one last time, call in today for a bun. We’d love to see some familiar faces before we close the doors.

The next few days will be spent moving everything over and getting Riverdale ready to take on all of our sandwich and salad production. To be honest, we can’t wait! Running three shops has been exhausting, and we’re excited to focus on our Craigyhill and Riverdale stores.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the last 23 years, and to all the staff who have worked in Broadway throughout the years. ❤️
