HOW IT STARTED ONE YEAR AGO… 🥹🩵
One whole year ago, Fidget & Sensory Squad — or Snuggly Squad as we were known back then — was just getting started.
We had absolutely no idea where this little business would take us…
There were orders to pack, products to discover, lessons to learn, plenty of late nights and A LOT of “what are we doing?!” moments 😂
But slowly, one order at a time, Fidget & Sensory Squad grew. 🩵
Our story actually began when I had to close the chapter on my previous business, Bubbly Scentz, a cosmetic-based business I had built from the ground up.
Due to a sudden change in my health and ongoing difficulties with standing and walking, I knew I could no longer spend hours standing up making products and then continue with TikTok Lives afterwards.
It was a huge decision, but instead of giving up on having my own business, I decided to take a completely different direction.
I sold my existing stock and invested everything into Snuggly Squad — a small soft toy business stocking Squishmallows, Keel Toys and, of course, one of our favourite squishy brands, Scrunchems. 🧸✨
And then something happened…
I fell completely in love with sensory toys. 🥹
As the months went on, we grew more and more popular online, my passion for fidgets and sensory products grew stronger, and eventually I decided it was time to go ALL IN.
That's when Snuggly Squad became Fidget & Sensory Squad. 🩵
Since then, we've had the absolute privilege of working with so many amazing and well-known fidget & sensory brands, discovering incredible products and building a community that means more to us than you could ever know.
And then came our next BIG leap…
🏪 OUR VERY OWN SHOP!
After growing so quickly, the time came when we simply couldn't keep running everything from home.
So in July 2026, all those late nights, hard work, packing orders and taking chances finally paid off…
WE OPENED OUR VERY OWN LITTLE SHOP IN LAUNCESTON, CORNWALL! 🎉🥹🩵
And honestly… what a reception we've had!
Our local community has been incredible, and we've even had customers travelling from all over the UK just to come and see us.
Our furthest customer so far?
CARDIFF! 😭🩵
From starting with absolutely no idea where this journey would take us, to having our own little shop and an amazing community behind us…
WHAT. A. YEAR.
So today isn't just about celebrating a business.
It's about celebrating the journey, the risks, the setbacks, the late nights, the little wins, the big wins and, most importantly, EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU WHO HAS BEEN PART OF IT. 🥹🩵
