Today we bring you a sneak peak at two gorgeous new yarns. The official launch date for these yarns is 16th September, and we’re not allowed to share any specific details about them online until then. But, they are available to buy in store ahead of the official launch!

First up is a lovely DK, 80% acrylic and 20% wool. It comes in 8 fabulous colours, and 10 patterns.

Second is a super soft chunky yarn, 80% recycled polyester and 20% wool. This one comes in 8 colours, and 8 patterns.

We’ve just received our first delivery from Katia and the yarns are lush!

First up is Katia Concept Atenea Tones which a luxurious laceweight blend of
merino, cotton and cashmere. This yarn is truly stunning!

Secondly we have Katia Concept 100% merino DK. This gorgeous butter soft yarn is not only machine washable, but can be tumble dried at low temperature too! This makes it perfect for those special baby knits.

Finally we have Katia Yupik which is a fun and funky faux fur. Just one ball is enough to make a stunning hat or ear warmers. Every purchase of Yupik comes with a free hat pattern!

Today, Ragdoll Crafts Yarn Shop is celebrating our 5th birthday, and also celebrating six months since we relocated to Leamington.

In honour of this double celebration, we are offering a 10% discount on all full priced yarn if you wish us a happy birthday at the till, including our newest range of 100% mercerised cotton! This offer is valid on Friday 15th and Saturday 16th of May only.

Last year I decided to save the ball bands for every ball of yarn I knitted or crocheted. During the move from Coventry Market to our new shop in Leamington I misplaced them. But I kept saving the bands to add to them as I knew I’d find them eventually. Today was that day 😁

I’ve just counted them up and was amazed, I used 96 balls of yarn in a year!

It’s a good job that I own a yarn shop 🤣
