Bamboo Hairbrush

This FSC bamboo hairbrush with wooden pins and a rubber cushion is a great alternative from a plastic hairbrush.

This brush has wooden pins made from special hornbeam wood which can help massage the scalp and stimulate circulation. It has one pin hole free at the bottom to allow airflow.

Is anyone else Eco-Ish?

So, I definitely think this term is helping manage my eco guilt. Before realising this term, I would often feel like I am not doing enough, like I should be doing more.

If you have followed me for a while, you will have seen that I always try and highlight that we should all just do the best we can, not matter how small. That ‘it’s not about doing everything, it’s about doing something’. However, it’s always easier to think that than practice it and for me eco guilt would eventually still creep in. However, this term really does help me.

In my eyes, ‘Eco-Ish’ means it’s ok to try your best but that there are still some aspects of life that still need working on- And that’s OK!!

So the question is, are you Eco-ish too?

Repeat after me… I have the power to create change..

This world can feel so overwhelming in so many ways.

For me, it’s overwhelming being a mum, a wife, a career woman and also trying to keep my little business that I started over 2 years ago alive. Not to mention trying to make them important eco changes in my life…

We have to remember though; we can’t always do everything or be everything to everyone, but we do have the power to create change in some way. We all have a circle of influence!

It starts just with us being in the middle of that circle and expands to our family and friends and beyond. The changes we make in our lives have the potential to influence others. However, ultimately the only real thing we can really control is ourselves and the changes we make.

So this is a reminder, not to get too hung up on the things we can’t control, like everyone around us. Instead, focus on the things we can control, liked ourselves because you have the power to create change in your life and that is enough!

Everything or anyone you manage to influence above this is a bonus!

Hope this at least inspires or motivates someone to continue their eco journey no matter how small the changes are as all them small changes do make a difference!
