Action 21 (2010) Ltd Action 21 is a charity supporting sustainable living based at The Re Useful Centre Unit 3 Milv

Action 21 sells second hand goods such as furniture, bikes, small electrical and other household items, thus saving them from landfill. The income from the sale of these goods is used to run the charity and to raise awareness in the local community about how to reduce waste output in creative and resourceful ways. We do this by running events and activities focused on the issue of re-use. Volunteering
As a volunteer-based charity, our achievements are substantially owed to the many people who have devoted their time and energy to our projects on a voluntary basis. For more information about volunteering visit www.action21.co.uk

Our current projects
• We have a PAT testing area at the Re-Useful Centre for testing the safety of electrical equipment which has been donated before it is offered for sale. PAT training is offered and qualifications can be achieved by volunteers.
• Our bicycle workshop. Donated bicycles are renovated and then sold in Action
21’s Re-Useful Centre. Our future focus
In the coming years, our key areas of focus will be:
1) Reducing the environmental impact of the Leamington and Warwick population;
2) Further developing opportunities that engage the local community in Action 21’s activities;
3) Increasing our provision of learning opportunities in the areas of re-use, energy, transport and food that contribute to the upskilling of the local population.
