A military railway did exist around Southend on Sea in Essex but the tracks never made it to Havengore Island. If you wish to know more about what did check out the Shoeburyness Military Tramway 👍

Thanks to our rep Ed today, coming in from PECO Model Railways, we got to see a sneaky peak of how these Aardman Wallace & Gromit 50th Anniversary 009 wagon packs are looking 👀

Hello 👋 How are we all? So it’s the first day of the week and we’ve had a nice busy first few days since we’ve been back, which is good 😃

However we are running a little behind with processing orders and getting back to a few of you due to a couple of us here having not been well recently, including myself 😣

So I just wanted to say thank you for your patience and understanding, we are working as quickly as we can to catch up getting orders out and responding to messages and emails 😊

We’re a small team here, so unfortunately any knock and we all take a hit as such 😅Just part of running a small business… Anyway I’m feeling better now at least, so can crack on with getting some boxes open and new things out in the shop (and there is plenty) 💪

So let’s get back on it!

You never know what you’ll see in a shop like ours 🙂 Take this pre-loved Roco H0 scale European tram for example. This was so cool! It even had a driver fitted and working directional lights. Oh and it worked!

One of our local regulars, Adam, nabbed this delightful model up before it could even get on the shelf. So it’s always worth asking us what we’re sorting through 😇

This was part of a Danish collection that we’re just finishing up getting out in the shop 👍 🇩🇰

We don’t currently put these on our website as it’s always changing but always worth coming by and having a gander 👀

Our friend JB over at Harold Road has weathered up one of our limited edition 00 gauge 40th anniversary wagons, commissioned through The Wagon Yard, that we gifted him and boy it looks absolutely fantastic! 👌

He’s now auctioning it for charity 😇 So if you are a fan of us and John’s super weathering work then go place a bid in the comments on his post now if you want to get hold of this one off. It’s for a good cause 🙂

Hello 👋 Our model shop is now open again as usual! 😃

So if you need any modelling bits or would like to come in and see us, have a chat and see our slice of modellers paradise, situated in the Surrey Hills, then come on in 🙂

We mainly focus on model railways and accessories with lots of 00, TT120, 009 and N gauge stock. We also have lots of plastic kits. slot cars, some Diecast collectibles with the relevant bits plus a good range of paints, glues, weathering products and tools 👌

Our opening times are 9.30am - 5.30pm, Tuesday - Saturday

With all sorts to look at along with our working window layout and test track running all kinds of different trains, if you haven’t been in yet, why not?

So Ele and I are back from our little road trip around Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and as many of you guessed correctly, we did indeed travel up to Skye, where the weather was absolutely gorgeous ☀️

So our shop is back open tomorrow! We’re ready to roll for the start of modelling and autumn show season. Can’t wait to get stuck in and open the doors again 👋
