Two very good novels . Both have engrossing plots. The first is an exposé of people trafficking and the s*x slave industry. The second is dark psychological family drama. It doesn’t matter which one you read first. Just make sure you read them both.

With so many happy memories of bookish events at the late and lovely Barton's Bookshop, I'm looking forward to returning to this Saturday 7th September. I'll be at new indie bookshop from midday. I'll have stocks of and for signing. Do pop in to say 'hi' and enjoy the excellent book collection Carrie and Tom have curated.

Monday and Tuesday will be lovely weather. Skoops will be open so come and buy an ice cream to enjoy with the last of the pop up books.In the High Street from 9:30 - 3:30 I will be almost giving them away

Mark Stay will be signing his brilliant new fantasy novel from 12 noon Saturday 6th April in the Barton's pop up in the Swan Centre. Yes, of course there will be cake.
