New Epsom Bus Garage Update

Senior management recently visited the site of our brand new Epsom Bus Garage to review construction progress.

The main building structure is now established, with internal vehicle areas and external yard space beginning to take operational shape.

Designed to accommodate approximately 45 buses, the new depot represents a significant investment in our Transport for London contract operations. Epsom bus garage is being developed to provide modern, purpose-built infrastructure to support both existing routes and future service growth. The facility will enhance operational resilience, strengthen engineering capability, and provide a high-quality working environment for our staff.

Once complete, the site will play an important role in supporting our continued delivery of safe, reliable and efficient services on behalf of Transport for London.

Exciting times ahead for London & Country as we continue investing in the future of our services.

Unveiling the Future of London & Country.

Fresh out of Red Rover Engineering, these three Wright StreetDecks, registered AG70 LAC, RG70 LAC & MG70 LAC, proudly debut the new London & Country livery — a respectful nod to our past and a confident step toward the future.

The refreshed design remains faithful to our classic two-tone green, reflecting the timeless link between London and the countryside, while a modern layout and subtle hint of red bring a contemporary edge. It’s a livery that blends heritage and progress perfectly.

These vehicles will be based at Addlestone (WY) depot, operating on Route 455 between Heathrow Terminal 5, Slough, and High Wycombe, continuing our commitment to connecting communities across the region.

A huge thank you to Paul for his outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail in bringing this new look to life. The result is a fleet that’s unmistakably London & Country — rooted in history, ready for the road ahead.

Looking ahead, our four brand-new Enviro 200MMCs are scheduled for delivery next month, marking the next phase in the London & Country fleet renewal programme. They’ll also carry the new livery and reflect our continued investment in modern, efficient, and stylish vehicles.

Exciting News: New Buses on Order!

We’re proud to confirm that London&Country has officially placed an order for four brand-new Alexander Dennis Enviro200 MMC buses!

These state-of-the-art vehicles represent our continued investment in modern, efficient and environmentally responsible public transport for the communities we serve.

With low-emission Euro VI engines, smart fuel-saving technology and enhanced passenger comfort, they’re perfectly suited for our scenic and essential country routes, which will enter service soon.

Each vehicle will feature:

• USB ports at every seat
• Real-time LED destination screens
• Low-floor accessibility
•Air conditioning

We can’t wait to welcome these smart new buses to the fleet and continue delivering dependable, greener journeys for all.

We hope you all had a cracking Easter and managed to sneak in a few too many chocolate eggs!

Seen here at Epsom (EP), Enviro 400 no. 231 is about to head out on service 418. These trusty double-deckers have served us well on our TfL routes, but as they are getting old, they’ll gradually be phased out.

Our Enviro 200s have already begun operating some of our country services, with the Enviro 400s set to follow in due course.

Out with the old (slowly)... and onward with the journey.
