Helloooooo, I’m back 👋🏻
Sooooo who would like a knitted name?
Previously when the orders were flooding in my eldest daughter did vast amounts of the knitting (I don’t use a mechanical knitting device like many french knitters. All my knits are created by hand) & I did all the wire work. So we’ve teamed up as I don’t have time to knit, but I do have the time to do the wiring. So we’re back up and running 🥳

Blimey, it’s been a minute! Actually I forget that this insta account still exists, but I never had the heart to close it so yes it remains hidden in the depths.
So what’s been going on these last few years? Well I’m still knee deep in spreadsheets (🙄), the kids are now 21 and 15, I still knit every once in a while and I got married in the summer to my first love (we’ve both been around the block since then, but we found our way back).
The itchy creative feet have kicked in! So I’m pondering my next chapter now. However I’ve lost touch of what everyone wants for their little ones these days. HELP!! Any and all ideas welcome 😊
2026 is a calling my creative name! And i’m ready to get stuck in!

Well well well! Lookie what i’ve done today! An old customer got intouch to ask if i’d knit for her and I thought ‘sod it! Yes!’ as I’ve missed it actually (and she said some very lovely things about my knits so that made me miss it more!)….
One day i’d love to pick my knitting hook up more frequently, but for now i’ll try squeeze folk in where I can! 😜

Hands up whose been to our new home yet? 🙌

We are back in business and now located at Farsley Fire and Smoke in Sunnybank Mills in Farsley, just down the road from our old home in Bramley.

We are open from 12pm on Friday and Saturday until 10pm (4pm-9pm Wed/Thurs/Sun too). We have a fridge full of delicious cheesecakes and rotating fresh bakes/donuts daily. Oh and we serve proper coffee too!

We even do amazing takeaways in the form of BBQ and authentic Berlin Doners from 5pm each day with our other businesses Farsley Fire & Smoke and Honour the Döner. All can be ordered from our new walk up counter!

We are also on UberEats if you want us to come to you instead!

To find us pop in Water Lane, Farsley into your sat nav and look for the Red Lane Mill carpark, there's plenty of visitor spots. Then look for the cheesecake sign by the door and follow the corridor round to us! You'll smell the amazing BBQ before you see us!

Well this is not a post i’m at all pleased to be writing! But life is full of shizzle we don’t want to do, say or write down. So here we are. Unit cleared ready for the next micro business to arrive.
Was it a disaster? No. Have i got a whole load of ideas at the ready? Yeah of course i have! Am i upset? Absolutely. Today I’m just relieved that i don’t keep having to come back to the unit titting about clearing it and having that reminder that it just didn’t work out as hoped….
I’m keeping my social media open as i’ll be back with new things soon enough. But for now im gonna have afew weeks off to get the home life sorted (sold my house and am in the process of buying another 🤞🏻)….Arnie is hardly my hero but im pinching his words; I’ll be back (soon enough and with gusto!)

The question i’ve been asked the most since i announced that i’m closing down is ‘are you still going to be knitting’?
The answer is ‘absolutely, yes!’
My latest knit is Nell in mustard.
Some of the colours have been discontinued so i need to reasses what’s available going forward, but be safe in the knowledge that i’ll still be knitting!!
