Well that's the big collection done 🎉. When I say done, I've finished the time consuming part of sizing using a pencil, ruler and scissors, putting together what goes with what design and sticking that all together. I've still to attach all the completed designs to the actual card and put all the sparkly diamonds on. However that part won't take too long, phew. Though I have a feeling I'm going to need to order more blank cards and envelopes 🤦‍♀️. So that's the grand total of 125 cards in this collection. There may be another 50 or so in the other collections... I daren't look 😆. Creating the type of cards I do, is very time consuming. But I know how much people love handmade cards, one offs that you know no-one else will send. X

A quieter month for events to give me a chance to catch up with things and hopefully have a few hours here and there for myself (well I can hope 😆).
Today I should finish the big christmas card collection, then I can make a start on the smaller ones. I've also to create a bespoke wedding card today for a customer. X 👰🏼🤵‍♂️

After caring for my mum, which involved a few hours sat in the garden playing bird bingo... a game I made up for mum to enjoy, I popped over to do a restock at The Secret Stanley Ferry Shop. I bought her some wool from the shop, which will help with her fundraising. I'll be selling her christmas knitted goodies soon. I've done a complete restock, so everything there is new, including a section just for Halloween 🎃👻💀.
If you've not been for a while, there are now parking charges at the pub. I used the app as there are no coin machines. There is a 40p admin charge to pay also. And don't forget to stop the timer on the app before you leave as I expect you'll get charged extra. I've added a photo so you can see what the charges are. As you can see it's not a lot, but I just wanted to make you aware. X🦊

My sale has now finished at Forever After Gift & Craft Shop. Thankyou to anyone who treat themselves to some bargains.
I've now completely refreshed my shelf and card display with lots of newness. I have Halloween, Christmas and all occasions covered. I'll keep adding bits each time I go, so there will always be something new to look at. Welcome to the "ber" months when there are always times to treat yourself and others too. X

Well after a busy summer of events, I'm looking forward to a quieter september. I do have a few events this coming month which I'll let you know about. I've a lot of crafting to do, ready for the festive season. Halloween crafting is mainly done thankfully. I'll be doing complete restocks this week at the wonderful shops that sell my products, with lots of seasonal goodies. 🎃👻🎅🏻🎄There will be a little online sale too. So there's lots going on.
Of course, this is only my weekend job as I work during the week and I'm a carer for my 94 year old mum every day, so I do sometimes get a little behind. Mum is presently knitting christmas robins as I sold all of these last year....x ❤️

What a lovely day and the weather stayed dry for the event, which wasn't the original forecast. Thankyou Garforth Fire Station and to all the lovely customers that purchased the goodies I make. Set up and ready for a 10.30 start at Garforth Fire Station, supporting firefighters charity. I've no cards today as the lady next to me sells them, and as she told me about this event, I didn't feel that was fair. However my table is full of lots of goodies, so you're spoilt for choice. X 🔥🚒👨‍🚒🦊🩷

Just a reminder of where I am tomorrow....
10.30 - 3.30 at The Garforth Fire Station.
The stallholders are indoors but there are demonstrations outside from our wonderful firefighters.. 👨‍🚒🚒. Fingers crossed the weather plays ball. It's looking like any rain might be later on in the day. Come along and support such a worthwhile cause. I have some firefighter themed pieces with me. X 🔥🔥🔥

Well I've finished the third section of the large christmas card collection.. At the weekend I'll make a start on the final part which is called "Classic Christmas". There's well over 100 cards in these four sections. I've also some small collections to create. So I'll have plenty of brand new festive cards to show you. I may actually be on schedule, for once. X 😁🎅🏻🦊
