I’m excited to introduce myself as the Local Engagement Specialist for Leeds as part of Touring Together, a new national touring initiative led by Fuel and China Plate.

As one of five Local Engagement Specialists (LES) embedded in venue partner locations across the country, I’ll be working locally to connect communities with Once Upon a Time in Sokoto and the wider Touring Together programme.

In my role, I’ll be connecting with schools, youth groups, community centres, grassroots organisations, societies, clubs and collectives across Leeds. I’m looking forward to meeting people, building relationships and helping local communities find ways to get involved with the project.

We are looking for
2 x food vendors, Facepainter, Icecream Van & Craft stalls.

As a black business market we usually only work with Black owned businesses but for this event we are also taking applications from EVERYONE who lives in the Chapeltown & harehills area.

Expect a playhouse kitchen take over by the one and only and a variety of black owned businesses to shop with before the show and during the interval.
