There’s something about autumn that always feels like a reset to me. 🍂✨

Maybe it’s the golden leaves, the cosy evenings, warm drinks, candles glowing and pumpkins appearing everywhere… Although summer is my absolute favourite season, autumn has always been my favourite aesthetic.

After the busyness and brightness of summer, it feels like a little invitation to slow down.

To reflect.

To let go of what no longer feels right.

And to gently move forward into the next chapter.

You don’t need to wait for January to reset your life. Sometimes September and autumn bring their own kind of fresh-start energy — a chance to come back to yourself, reconnect with what you need and create space for what’s next.

So here’s to golden days, cosy nights and giving ourselves permission to pause, reflect and begin again.

Oh summer 2026, I thought you might be s**t but you were so full of surprises and beautifully welcome.

This year so far has been interesting. Lots of big shake ups that I know we’ve needed and I know deep down are going to the best thing that has happened to us. I thought it would really affect summer and it didn’t really.

We did lots of low cost free trips. Not everything has to cost a million pounds. We also had a lot of screen time. Meh it’s got to happen sometimes.

Lasts years ‘do everything’ me was very thoughtful and booked and paid for some super adventures for us which I love her for.

We’ve had laughs, tears and lots of fun. Been surrounded by family and friends. We’ve had good days and bad days. Alllllllllll part of it.

And although I’m not ready to give up my floaty pants and flip-flops I’m so ready for change, for a tidy home and some peace and quiet.

Oh and 46 arrived quietly, slightly blue but I think it’s going to be my biggest transformation yet and I’m ready for it.

I’m feeling a little bit magical today… so I’m sending some of that magic your way. ✨

Sometimes we get so caught up in what’s going wrong that we forget how much wonder is all around us.

A butterfly fluttering past.
A rainbow appearing out of nowhere.
The warmth of the sun on your face.
The stars twinkling above you.

These little moments happen every single day, but we’re often moving too fast to notice them.

What if we started looking for the magic instead of expecting life to be hard all the time?

And while you’re looking… don’t forget to look at yourself too.

Because you are pretty magical.

Your kindness, your heart, your smile, the way you make people feel… they’re all things that only you can bring to the world.

So today, keep your eyes open for the little moments of magic… and don’t forget that you’re one of them too. 💛✨

I really am so sick of seeing my face on here but give the algorithm what it wants huh?

2026 rated out of 10 so far. So much I didn’t add but like every year there are great bits and not so great bits.

Why I did a pivot in my design job…..

I love designing. It brings me so much joy but I always felt that I needed something else.

That need became so loud I couldn’t ignore it anymore so I explored it and I’m so glad I did.

I now am an advanced EFT practitioner, reiki practitioner and auricular acupuncturist alongside designing cards and prints.

You don’t just have to be one thing. You can be many things ❤️
