You may have noticed that it’s been pretty quiet on the Little Owl Bookshop page recently 🤫

📚 You may know that Little Owl Bookshop has been my ‘side hustle’ whilst I’ve worked part time in my ‘proper’ job 😃

Today I started a new adventure, taking up a new, full time role with Anchor Housing after 15 years at WDH.

Unfortunately taking on this new full time role means I’m unable to continue running Little Owl Bookshop, so I am closing down my little business. As the saying goes, you get out what you put in and I’m unable to commit the time it needs to make it flourish 🌸

💐 I want to say a huge ‘Thank You’ to all my customers past and present. I’ve really enjoyed putting wonderful books in the hands of so many children, it has been an absolute pleasure 😃

We at Usborne are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Britain’s longest serving monarch was respected and loved by many children and adults in the UK, and around the world.

As well as being a public figure, Queen Elizabeth was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Children may have questions about her as a person, her life as Queen, and why this is an important historical moment.
