Congratulations to Rob Brydon on the release of his very first children’s book! The Cat in the Cupboard is officially OUT NOW!
Written by Rob and beautifully illustrated by Ellie Snowdon, the story introduces us to Crumble the cat — inspired by Rob’s own pet cat. In the book, Crumble heads into the garden of his arch-nemesis on a daring mission to find his beloved lost toy. It’s written in playful rhyme and marks Rob’s first book for children.
Of course, we know and love Rob as Uncle Bryn in Gavin & Stacey, but younger audiences may already know his voice from animated favourites including The Gruffalo’s Child, Room on the Broom, Stick Man, Zog and Superworm.
And how lovely that the inspiration came from his very own Crumble, who Rob has been showing off alongside the book today!
