Today Rita was invited again to Temple Newsam House this time to record her memories of volunteering as a tour guide back in the 1980’s. This will be forever part of the oral history of Temple Newsam now in the archives and in time on touchscreen devices in the house and online.
I am so lucky to have been part of hearing all her wonderful stories from many moons ago. I hope my memory is as amazing as Rita’s when I’m 95!! Today has blown my mind a little bit realising that this information will be around for many many more years to come. I love my job🥰
