A little note about postage on Etsy...

When I re-open, you will see that, for some bizarre reason, Etsy have decided to roll all prices PLUS tracked postage costs into one amount, making it appear as though my tags/products have all increased in cost by £3.85! I am hoping that there will be a more visible and separated break down of the actual item price and postage amount going forward.

Please be assured that you only ever pay postage ON YOUR FIRST ITEM and the rest of your order travels free. So, whether you order one set of tags or ten, the postage price remains the same.

I think it's an attempt to force sellers to offer free postage but my view on this will always be, that there is no such thing as free postage and I refuse to 'bury' and hide costs within goods. I value my customers and want to provide them with absolute transparency and honesty.

The price you pay within the UK is £3.85 which breaks down as £3.65 for fully tracked postage (the actual cost price) plus just 20p for all packaging.

I will never 'hide' postage costs and pretend I offer free postage!

Thank you so much to everyone who takes time to leave reviews for me over in the Etsy shop. I normally respond to each one quite quickly but have been so busy during the last few weeks I had quite a few to catch up with!

They are all replied to now and I thank you so much for taking the time to leave them.

Ronan, I have to give you an extra special thank you for all your wonderful and thoughtful reviews this year. One in particular really made me chuckle and had me smiling all day! I appreciate you.

I am taking a short break now to replenish stocks, take a breath and then I will be back on the 27th to resume trading.

Thank you to everyone who has supported small business this year. Whether you purchased, shared posts, commented... or all three, it truly makes a difference.

You are not buying a CEO a yacht when you shop small but you do help to put shoes on feet, food on plates and smiles on faces.

CHRISTMAS CLOSING/RE-OPENING DATES.

The Attic Rooms will be closing for a Christmas break from MIDNIGHT, WEDNESDAY 10TH DECEMBER. I will re-open mid morning on SATURDAY 27TH DECEMBER.

The Christmas post becomes very unreliable after this date so I am saving myself the stress this year!

Here as promised is my latest set of Christmas journaling postcards which are also perfect as winter birthday and Christmas card toppers too! These are my new fave! (yes.. again!) 😁

There are two sets available. There are ten ladies in each set and all are different so if you want both sets, you won't get any repeats.

The corner ribbons were extracted from a real Victorian birthday card which I thought added a wonderfully realistic and unique touch!

Hope you love these. The colours really pop off the page! I have not applied the wording 'Christmas' purposely, to give you as much winter crafting flexibility as possible.

I love the style of the 'postcard' font at the bottom! The crisp white colourway really sets it off beautifully and look out for Mr Robin!

Anyway, I ramble on... enjoy these... I am away to get my tea!

Here as promised is another brand new set, hot off the press! This fabulous set of 12 Victorian barber shop, journaling postcards is my new fave! Do share this post if you have time please, it really helps me.

Rich in detailing; look out for a jar of The Attic Rooms' finest pomade, the cracked mirror and the cute cashier receipt which has a different customer number on each which was actually the time I saved the file! I love adding these little details. T. A. R. of course stands for The Attic Rooms!

If you love your Christmas crafting to be magical and whimsical, these are perfect! Brand new and hot off the press is this delicious set of 10 journaling postcards/card toppers.

Each postcard has a central character and all are different. Each character is surrounded with a collage style array of Christmas ephemera in a loose, watercolour style. Divine!

The background is a subtle and oh so pretty, teal and pink stripe design. I have added a selection of digital ephemera such as a bow, a wax seal with the character's name, a snowflake border, bokeh effects, bubbles, light flares, a postmark and the word 'Postcard' is added to the bottom of each one.
