The Utility Pant from Far East Manufacturing is inspired by classic US military fatigue trousers from the 1940s–70s, It’s cut with a high rise and a relaxed straight leg, keeping that vintage military shape but refined for everyday wear.

Made in Japan from a durable cotton back sateen fabric (ura-satin), the material has a tough, textured outer face and a smooth inner surface for comfort. Originally developed for military uniforms, it’s built to take heavy wear and age beautifully over time.

The fabric is sulfur-dyed in olive, meaning it will fade gradually with wear, developing natural highs and lows that give each pair its own character.

We are pleased to be introducing Far East Manufacturing to the UK, and proud to be the first UK stockist.

The brand was founded by Yoshiyuki Hayashi, the man behind Resolute Jeans, and carries the same focus on quality, simplicity, and considered Japanese craftsmanship.

The shirts were the pieces that stood out immediately, Made in Japan, with a strong collar roll, the classic “three-finger” roll; a foundational detail of mid-century Ivy style, achieved through the natural structure of the collar. It sits perfectly and gives that effortless Ivy feel, alongside excellent proportions throughout. Easily some of the best we’ve seen in a long time.

For the first time in Europe, we welcome the cult Japanese label founded by Naoki Tanaka in Okayama, the heart of Japan’s legendary denim industry. Built around the idea of “new vintage”,. Anachronorm creates garments that feel as though they already carry years of history, while being crafted to evolve beautifully with time.

Drawing inspiration from vintage American workwear and military clothing, each piece is developed using carefully sourced fabrics and finished through intensive aging processes including hand distressing, washing, dyeing, and repair techniques designed to recreate the character of garments that have naturally worn over decades.

The result is clothing with depth, texture and individuality pieces that look lived-in from day one, yet continue to develop their own story with every wear.
