Millions of toxic plastic beads from Southern Water have washed up on Camber Sands beach, threatening dolphins, seals, seabirds, and our beaches. Sign the petition to make sure water companies pay for the cleanup of spills like this, not their customers:

Michelle Mone has admitted that she lied to the media over her links to a PPE firm. Enough is enough, it's time those in power put an end to this sordid affair. Sign the petition now and demand Mone is expelled from the House of Lords:

Well the new season is here, or will be when all the seedlings develop. the tomatoes are going into their final pots, aubergines and peppers are in intermediate ones. Cucumbers are about to go in. Too soon and they are ready but no tomatoes!

Outside the potatoes were planted weeks back, elephant garlic is doing well, beetroot seedlings are emerging, broad beans and onions I overwintered are looking good too. I have plants to start to harden off to plant out later this month and more to start.

This is my time of optimism for the year ahead.

I just signed 's petition calling on political leaders to rescue our rivers and freshwaters to health for nature and people by 2030. Will you join me and add your name?

Well I'm on the way now, plants ready to move to the field, tomatoes and aubergines moved up a pot size to grow on before the final move, potato, onions, garlic and shallot sets planted, beetroot main crop seeds in.

I will have tomato plants and cucumbers for sale around the end of the month.

Audrey will have perennial garden plants and herbs at far less than the garden centres.

Not ready to start the veg boxes yet but I do have rhubarb ready if anyone wants some. Can't beat getting it really fresh, I'll pull it whilst you wait, just need to avoid the plant where a blackbird has nested, spotted it last week and just hope Tammy doesn't find it or the chicks have no chance.

I'll be around from about 10.30 Saturday and Sunday and won't leave before 4 unless the day is a complete wash out. You can call me on 07803 263580 to check or to order rhubarb so you don't need to wait.

Speak out to stop these intelligent individuals from being confined to cramped tanks and killed for profit at the world’s first octopus farm in Gran Canaria.

What a lovely day for September. We lifted half our potatoes and they are as disappointing as our onion crop. The problem of not pumping everything full of water and letting nature take it's course. It has suited the sweetcorn though, something I usually struggle with. I'm also on with removing the fat hen from the brassicas and leeks, slow progress but at least I'm making some.

The stall, by the bus stop, tomorrow will have new potatoes, marrow, beetroot and squash at least, I don't want to put out anything which will suffer if left in the sun. Come and see me for tomatoes, corn, cucumber, chard, spinach, aubergine, bullhorn peppers, chilli, possibly turnips and kale. These are best picked fresh for you but if you are likely to be in a hurry you can call me on 07803 263580 to arrange a pick up time. I'll be around from 10.30 a.m. to 4p.m.
