We’ve all been there… fallen in love with something we absolutely don’t need, but somehow managed to convince ourselves it’s an essential purchase. 🛍️

“It’s an investment.”

“I’ll definitely wear it loads.”

“It’s vintage, I’ll never find another one.”

Or my personal favourite when it comes to fur coats… “I don’t have one in THAT colour!” 😂🫟

Most of the time, you don’t need an excuse at all. You just absolutely LOVE it! 😍

Metallic oil-slick fabric with a figure-hugging bodycon skirt, dramatic batwing sleeves, a thigh-high side split and a plunging backless design. 👗

Disco glamour, made for the dancefloor. 🪩✨

This one’s been sitting in my personal collection, but I’m considering putting it up for sale. 🤔

Meet Candi 🪩✨

A throwback to one of my first creations. 🪡🧵

The Candi dress started out on paper before being brought to life in pink disco glitter — a super low-cut, open-backed mini with a choker-style halter neck and plenty of movement. Then came a second version in high-shine silver. 🩶

And the name? A little nod to one of the legendary divas of disco herself. ✨

The dancefloor has always influenced my style, and that same energy has always found its way into the things I make. 🪩

As I’m getting back into creating more pieces for House of Ali Cat, it felt like the perfect time to look back at one of the creations that started it all. 🥰
